β1.1 Platform Owner

1.2 Trading Names
The Platform may operate under various trading brands including but not limited to: Snappy Sales, Snappy Car Sales, Snappy Bike Sales, Snappy Boat Sales, Snappy Truck Sales, Snappy Trailer Sales, Snappy Caravan Sales, Snappy Machinery Sales, and Snappy Property Sales.
1.3 Definition of Snappy
In these Terms, the words "Snappy", "we", "us", or "our" refer to Snappy Group Pty Ltd ATF The Snappy Trust, its related bodies corporate, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, agents, and authorised representatives.
Acceptance of Terms
β2.1 Binding Agreement. By accessing, browsing, registering, posting listings, purchasing advertising services, or otherwise using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
2.2 Legal Agreement. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Snappy.
2.3 Refusal of Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Platform.
2.4 Amendments. Snappy reserves the right to amend or update these Terms at any time. Where practical, Snappy will provide notice of significant changes via the Platform or by electronic communication.
2.6 Continued Use. Your continued use of the Platform following changes to the Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Nature of the Service
β3.1 Marketplace Advertising Platform. The Platform operates as an online advertising marketplace that enables Users to advertise, promote, discover, search for and communicate about goods and services across a range of marketplace categories. Snappy provides technology and advertising services designed to connect Buyers and Sellers but is not a party to transactions conducted between Users unless expressly stated otherwise.
3.2 Categories of Listings
Listings may include, but are not limited to: residential property, commercial property, rural property, motor vehicles, electric vehicles, boats and marine vessels, motorcycles and bicycles, trucks, trailers, caravans, machinery and equipment, parts and accessories, business assets, services, and other goods or services approved by Snappy from time to time.
3.3 Platform Services
The Platform may provide services including: online advertising, listing management, search functionality, messaging between Users, promoted and featured listings, subscription services, QR code technologies, AI-assisted tools, account verification services, analytics and reporting tools, and other digital products.
3.4 Platform Role
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Snappy does not act as a buyer or seller, broker, agent, or auctioneer; does not negotiate transactions, inspect goods, verify ownership or accuracy of listings, guarantee identity of Users, process payments between Buyers and Sellers, provide escrow services, or provide legal, financial, or valuation advice.
3.5 Direct BuyerβSeller Interaction. Unless expressly stated otherwise, all negotiations, inspections, contracts, payments and transfers relating to a Listing occur directly between Buyers and Sellers. Users are solely responsible for conducting appropriate due diligence before entering into any transaction.
3.6 AI and Automated Services. Where Snappy provides AI-assisted or automated features: such content is provided for convenience only; Users remain solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all content before publication or reliance; Snappy does not warrant the accuracy, completeness or suitability of AI-generated content.
3.7 Category-Specific Rules. Certain marketplace categories may be subject to additional rules, policies or schedules. Where a category-specific schedule conflicts with this Section, the category-specific schedule will prevail to the extent of the inconsistency for that category only.
User Eligibility
β4.1 Users must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform.
4.2 Users must have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.
4.3 Users must comply with all applicable Australian laws including obligations under Australian Consumer Law, State and Territory trading legislation, motor vehicle dealer licensing laws, and real estate regulations where applicable.
4.4 Business Users. Businesses using the Platform warrant that they are lawfully registered, hold all necessary licences and permits, and comply with applicable consumer protection laws.
User Accounts
β5.1 Account Registration. Certain features require Users to register for an Account. Snappy reserves the right to refuse, suspend or terminate any Account application at its sole discretion where permitted by law.
5.2 Accurate Information. Users must provide accurate, complete and current information when creating or maintaining an Account and must promptly update their details if they change. Providing false, misleading or incomplete information may result in suspension or termination.
5.3 Account Security. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials, restricting access to their Account, all activity conducted under their Account, and ensuring their password is kept secure.
5.4 Unauthorised Access. Users must notify Snappy immediately if they suspect unauthorised access to their Account or any security breach.
5.6 Identity and Business Verification. Snappy may at any time request information or documentation to verify a User's identity, business registration, dealer licence, real estate licence, contact details, or ownership or authority to advertise.
5.7 Verified Accounts. A verified badge indicates only that certain information has been verified by Snappy at a particular point in time. It does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation or guarantee.
5.9 Account Suspension. Snappy may suspend or restrict an Account where: fraudulent activity is suspected; these Terms are breached; unlawful conduct is identified; verification requirements are not satisfied; payment obligations remain outstanding; chargebacks or payment disputes occur; or the Account presents a risk to the Platform or other Users.
5.10 Account Termination. Snappy may permanently terminate an Account for serious or repeated breaches, fraudulent or criminal activity, false identity information, repeated abuse, or where continued access may expose Snappy or other Users to legal, financial or security risks.
Listings & Advertisements
β6.1 Users may submit Listings promoting Goods or Services for sale, lease, rent or other lawful purposes approved by Snappy. Users warrant that they have the legal right or authority to advertise each Listing.
6.2 Accuracy of Listings. Users are solely responsible for ensuring all Listings are accurate, complete, current, not misleading or deceptive, and compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.
6.3 Compliance with Consumer Law. All Listings must comply with Australian Consumer Law, applicable State and Territory legislation, licensing requirements, advertising standards, and any category-specific rules published by Snappy.
6.4 AI-Generated Content. Where Users utilise AI-assisted tools provided by Snappy: the User remains solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated content; publication constitutes acceptance that the content is accurate; Snappy does not warrant the accuracy, completeness or suitability of AI-generated content.
6.5 Promoted Listings and Search Visibility. Snappy may offer paid advertising products. Snappy does not guarantee any particular search ranking, number of enquiries, sales, rentals or advertising outcome.
6.6 Prohibited Listings
Users must not publish Listings that include or promote: illegal Goods or Services; stolen property; counterfeit goods; fraudulent or deceptive offers; offensive, abusive or discriminatory content; content that infringes intellectual property rights; content that breaches privacy laws; or prohibited or regulated goods without all required licences or approvals.
6.7 Listing Moderation. Snappy may refuse, edit, temporarily remove, or permanently remove any Listing and is under no obligation to publish or retain any Listing.
Listing Content Responsibility
β7.1 Users are solely responsible for the content and accuracy of Listings.
7.2 No Verification. Snappy does not verify ownership of items, seller identity, or accuracy of listing information.
7.3 No Endorsement. Listings do not represent endorsement by Snappy.
7.4 Buyer Due Diligence. Buyers must independently verify listings before completing transactions.
Fees & Payments
β8.1 Advertising Fees. Snappy may charge fees for: standard Listings, subscription packages, promoted or featured Listings, advertising upgrades, dealer advertising packages, premium features, and other products or services. All applicable Fees will be displayed before purchase.
8.2 Payment Processing. Payments are processed by independent third-party payment providers selected by Snappy, including but not limited to Stripe. Snappy does not store full payment card details.
8.3 No Transaction Handling. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Snappy does not receive or hold purchase monies relating to transactions between Buyers and Sellers, act as an escrow agent, or guarantee payment or delivery.
8.4 Subscription Billing. Users purchasing subscription services authorise Snappy to automatically charge the nominated payment method at the commencement of each billing period until the Subscription is cancelled.
8.5 Fee Changes. Snappy may vary Fees from time to time. Continued use of the applicable service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Fees.
8.6 Taxes. Unless otherwise stated, all Fees are inclusive of GST where applicable. Users outside Australia are responsible for any taxes or duties applicable in their jurisdiction.
8.7 Failed Payments. If a payment cannot be processed, Snappy may retry the payment, suspend or restrict access to paid services, remove premium advertising features, or suspend the User's Subscription until payment is received.
8.8 Chargebacks and Payment Disputes. Users must not initiate a chargeback without first contacting Snappy to attempt to resolve the issue. Snappy may suspend the Account while the matter is investigated.
8.9 Refunds. Unless required by Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation, advertising fees, listing fees, subscription fees, promotional fees, and upgrade fees are non-refundable.
Subscriptions
β9.1 Snappy may offer subscription packages that provide access to advertising services, premium features, enhanced functionality and other benefits.
9.2 Subscription Period. Subscriptions operate on the billing cycle selected by the User at the time of purchase and commence on the date payment is successfully processed.
9.3 Automatic Renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the next renewal date.
9.5 Cancellation. Users may cancel their Subscription at any time through their Account settings or by contacting Snappy Support. Cancellation prevents future renewal charges but does not automatically entitle the User to a refund for the current billing period unless required by law.
9.6 Suspension for Non-Payment. Snappy may suspend or terminate access to Subscription services where Fees remain unpaid, payment cannot be processed, a chargeback has been initiated, or these Terms have been breached.
9.8 Refunds. Unless required by Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation, Subscription Fees are non-refundable.
Acceptable Use Policy
β10.1 Lawful Use. Users must use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms, all applicable laws, and any policies or guidelines published by Snappy.
10.2 Prohibited Activities
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Infringe the rights of any third party
- Engage in fraudulent, misleading or deceptive conduct
- Promote illegal goods or services
- Facilitate scams, money laundering or other criminal activity
- Impersonate another person or business
- Submit false or misleading information
- Interfere with another User's use of the Platform
10.3 Platform Abuse
- Creating fake Accounts
- Submitting fake enquiries
- Posting duplicate or misleading Listings
- Manipulating search rankings or Listing visibility
- Using the Platform to send spam or unsolicited communications
10.4 Automated Access. Unless expressly authorised in writing by Snappy, Users must not use bots, crawlers, scrapers or automated software to access the Platform or interfere with technical restrictions. This does not prevent lawful use of APIs or integrations expressly approved by Snappy.
10.6 Platform Integrity. Users must not attempt to compromise the security, integrity or availability of the Platform, introduce viruses or malicious code, or gain unauthorised access to any Account or database.
Prohibited Conduct
β11.1 Users must not engage in any conduct that is unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or otherwise inconsistent with these Terms or the integrity of the Platform.
11.2 False or Misleading Information. Users must not publish Listings with false information, misrepresent goods or services, impersonate another person or business, or falsely claim to be a licensed professional.
11.3 Fraudulent Conduct. Users must not engage in scams or attempted scams, identity fraud, payment fraud, listing goods without authority, using stolen payment methods, or submitting false verification documents.
11.4 Manipulation of the Platform. Users must not manipulate search rankings, artificially increase Listing views or enquiries, submit fake enquiries, publish fake reviews or ratings, or encourage others to manipulate Platform performance.
11.5 Circumvention of Fees. Users must not intentionally avoid or circumvent Platform Fees by encouraging transactions outside the Platform, creating duplicate Accounts, using false account information, or using another User's Account without permission.
11.7 Repeated Breaches. Repeated or serious breaches may result in removal of Listings, suspension or termination of Accounts, permanent restriction from using the Platform, and referral to law enforcement.
Fraud & Scam Disclaimer
β12.1 The Platform operates as an open online advertising marketplace where Listings are created and managed by independent Users. Snappy does not create, control or verify the majority of Listings published on the Platform.
12.2 Risk Acknowledgement. Users acknowledge that online marketplaces involve inherent risks including fraud, scams, identity theft, misrepresentation, counterfeit goods, payment fraud, phishing or impersonation attempts, and other unlawful conduct. Users use the Platform at their own risk.
12.3 No Guarantee of Authenticity. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Snappy does not warrant or guarantee the authenticity or legality of any Listing, the identity of any User, ownership of advertised Goods or Services, or the accuracy or completeness of Listing information.
12.5 User Responsibility. Users are solely responsible for conducting appropriate due diligence, verifying the identity of the other party, inspecting Goods or Services where appropriate, and obtaining independent professional advice where required.
12.6 Safety Precautions. Snappy recommends Users verify the identity of the other party, inspect Goods or Services before making payment, avoid sending money before appropriate verification, and meet in safe public locations where practical.
12.8 No Liability for Fraud. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Snappy is not liable for any loss arising from fraudulent conduct by Users, scams, identity theft, payment disputes, or reliance upon false or misleading information supplied by Users.
Intellectual Property
β13.1 Ownership. All intellectual property rights in the Platform, including software, databases, website design, logos, trademarks, graphics, and content are owned by or licensed to Snappy. These rights are protected under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth) and other applicable intellectual property laws.
13.3 Limited Licence. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to access and use the Platform solely for its intended purposes.
13.4 Restrictions. Users must not copy or reproduce Platform content, modify Platform software, distribute Platform content, or create derivative works based on the Platform.
13.5 Trademarks. All Snappy trademarks, logos, and brand assets remain the exclusive property of Snappy.
Intellectual Property Takedown Procedure
βIf a person believes their intellectual property rights have been infringed by a Listing, they may submit a written complaint to Snappy including: identification of the copyrighted work, identification of the infringing content, contact details of the complainant, and a statement confirming ownership. Upon receiving a valid complaint, Snappy may investigate and take appropriate action including removing the offending content. Snappy may suspend or terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
Data Scraping & Automated Access
β15.1 Users must not access the Platform using automated tools including bots, scrapers, crawlers, or data mining software.
15.2 Users must not extract, harvest, or collect data from the Platform for commercial purposes without written permission from Snappy.
15.3 The Platform database is proprietary and protected by intellectual property laws. Snappy reserves the right to pursue legal action against individuals or organisations engaging in unauthorised data scraping.
Privacy & Data Protection
β16.1 Snappy collects, stores, uses and discloses personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), the Snappy Privacy Policy and other applicable privacy legislation.
16.3 Information Collected. Snappy may collect: contact details, account information, identity verification information, billing and payment information, device and browser information, IP address and approximate location, communications with Snappy or other Users, and usage and diagnostic information.
16.4 Use of Personal Information. Snappy may use personal information to: provide and improve the Platform and Services, manage Accounts and Listings, verify Users, process payments and subscriptions, detect fraud and security threats, communicate with Users, comply with legal obligations, and enforce these Terms.
16.7 Data Security. Snappy implements reasonable technical, administrative and organisational measures designed to protect personal information. However, no electronic system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Communications & Marketing
β17.1 By using the Platform, Users consent to receiving communications from Snappy electronically, including by email, in-app notifications, push notifications, SMS, and platform messaging.
17.3 Marketing Communications. With the User's consent where required by law, Snappy may send marketing communications relating to promotions, new products and services, new marketplace categories, special offers, and competitions.
17.4 Marketing communications will be sent in accordance with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).
17.5 Unsubscribe. Users may opt out of receiving marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link provided, updating their communication preferences in their Account, or contacting Snappy Support. Opting out does not prevent Snappy from sending essential service or legal communications.
Platform Availability
βSnappy will use reasonable commercial efforts to maintain the availability, security and functionality of the Platform. However, the Platform may be unavailable from time to time due to maintenance, upgrades, security measures, technical issues or events beyond Snappy's reasonable control. Snappy does not guarantee continuous or uninterrupted access and is not liable for interruptions or delays arising from internet outages, telecommunications failures, server failures, cyberattacks, software defects, hardware failures, power outages, third-party service interruptions, or events beyond Snappy's reasonable control.
Third-Party Services
βThe Platform may integrate with third-party services including payment processors, cloud hosting providers, mapping and location services, analytics providers, artificial intelligence and machine learning providers, communication providers, identity verification providers, and advertising and marketing platforms. Third-party services operate independently of Snappy and are governed by the terms, conditions and privacy policies of the relevant provider. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Snappy is not responsible for the performance, availability, reliability, security or conduct of any third-party provider.
Limitation of Liability
β20.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable legislation.
20.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform and all Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
20.3 No Warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Snappy makes no warranty regarding the accuracy of Listings, the identity or reliability of Users, the completion of any transaction, the quality or safety of Goods or Services, uninterrupted access to the Platform, or the availability of any Platform feature.
20.7 Indirect Loss. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Snappy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary loss or damage including: loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of business opportunity, loss of goodwill, reputational damage, loss of data, or business interruption.
20.10 Maximum Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Snappy's total aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the total Fees paid by the User to Snappy during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Indemnity
βTo the fullest extent permitted by law, Users agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Snappy, its related entities, directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents and representatives from and against any claims, actions, liabilities, losses, damages, costs or expenses (including reasonable legal costs on a full indemnity basis) arising out of or in connection with: any breach of these Terms, any breach of applicable laws or regulations, any Listing or content published by the User, misleading or false information provided by the User, infringement of intellectual property or privacy rights, fraudulent or unlawful conduct by the User, disputes between the User and another User, misuse of the Platform, or any claim arising from Goods or Services advertised by the User. This indemnity survives termination of these Terms.
Termination
β22.1 By User. Users may cease using the Platform and close their Account at any time, subject to any outstanding payment obligations or active Subscription commitments.
22.2 By Snappy. Snappy may suspend, restrict or terminate an Account immediately where reasonably necessary, including where these Terms are breached, unlawful or fraudulent activity is suspected, false or misleading information has been provided, payment obligations remain outstanding, or a chargeback has been initiated.
22.4 Effect of Termination. Upon suspension or termination: access to the Account may be revoked, Listings may be removed, Subscription services may cease, access to paid features may end, and any licences granted under these Terms automatically terminate.
22.5 Survival. Payment obligations, indemnities, limitation of liability, intellectual property rights, dispute resolution, governing law, and privacy obligations survive suspension or termination of these Terms.
Force Majeure
βSnappy will not be liable for failure to perform obligations where such failure results from events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, war or civil unrest, cyberattacks, or telecommunications failures. Obligations affected by force majeure events may be suspended for the duration of the event.
Governing Law
βThese Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Queensland, Australia, and operate subject to applicable Australian laws including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and Australian Consumer Law. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, Australia.
Dispute Resolution & Mandatory Mediation
β25.1 Notice of Dispute. In the event of any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, or the breach thereof, the parties shall first attempt to settle the dispute through direct consultation and good faith negotiations.
25.2 Mediation. If the dispute cannot be settled within thirty (30) days of the initial notice, the parties agree to submit the dispute to confidential mediation in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, before a mediator agreed upon by both parties, before resorting to court litigation.
25.3 Costs. Each party shall bear its own costs in the mediation, and the parties shall share the mediator's fees equally.
25.4 Court Proceedings. If mediation fails to resolve the dispute, either party may commence legal proceedings in the courts of Queensland.
General Legal Provisions
β26.1 Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with all Schedules, Policies, Guidelines and Category-Specific Rules incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between Snappy and the User regarding access to and use of the Platform.
26.3 Severability. If any provision is held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that provision will be severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
26.4 Waiver. Failure or delay by Snappy to exercise any right or remedy does not constitute a waiver. Any waiver must be in writing and applies only to the specific circumstance for which it is given.
26.5 Assignment. Users may not assign, transfer or otherwise deal with any of their rights or obligations under these Terms without Snappy's prior written consent. Snappy may assign its rights and obligations to any related entity, purchaser or successor business without User consent.
26.6 Electronic Agreement. Users acknowledge that electronic acceptance of these Terms constitutes a legally binding agreement and has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature.
26.7 Relationship of the Parties. Nothing contained in these Terms creates or is intended to create any partnership, joint venture, agency, employment, fiduciary or franchise relationship between Snappy and any User.

Schedule 1 β Listing Rules
βThese Listing Rules govern the creation, publication, and management of Listings on the Platform. All Listings must comply with applicable laws including Australian Consumer Law, Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), and relevant state or territory trading laws.
Accurate Information. Users must ensure that all Listings contain accurate and truthful information, clearly describe the goods or services offered, include correct pricing where applicable, and disclose any known defects or limitations.
Ownership and Authority. Users must only list items that they legally own or are authorised to sell or advertise.
Prohibited Listings. Listings must not include or promote: illegal goods or services, stolen property, counterfeit or replica goods, hazardous materials prohibited by law, or items that violate intellectual property rights.
Duplicate Listings. Users must not create duplicate listings for the same item where this may mislead users or manipulate search results.
Snappy may remove Listings that breach these Terms, breach applicable laws, contain misleading information, or damage the integrity of the Platform. Users who repeatedly violate Listing Rules may have their accounts suspended or terminated.
Schedule 2 β Acceptable Use Policy
βUsers must comply with all applicable laws when using the Platform. Users must not: harass or threaten other users, post abusive, defamatory, or offensive content, impersonate another person, or attempt to commit fraud or scams. Users must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform, bypass security controls, or disrupt platform services. Users must not send unsolicited commercial messages through the Platform in breach of the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). Snappy reserves the right to investigate breaches of this policy and take appropriate action including account suspension or termination.
Schedule 3 β Advertising Fees Policy
βSnappy provides paid advertising services allowing users to promote Listings on the Platform. Fees may apply for standard listings, premium listings, subscription packages, advertising upgrades, and dealer advertising packages. Advertising payments are processed through third-party payment processors. Snappy reserves the right to modify advertising fees with reasonable notice. Advertising fees are generally non-refundable unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
Schedule 4 β Fraud & Safety Policy
βUsers acknowledge that online marketplaces may involve risks including fraudulent activity. Users should take reasonable precautions including verifying the identity of buyers and sellers, inspecting items before payment, and avoiding requests for unusual payment methods. Users who suspect fraudulent activity should report the matter to Snappy immediately. Snappy may cooperate with law enforcement authorities where fraud or criminal activity is suspected.
Schedule 5 β Intellectual Property Takedown Policy
βIndividuals who believe their intellectual property has been infringed may submit a written complaint to Snappy including: identification of the copyrighted work, identification of the infringing Listing, contact details of the complainant, and a statement confirming ownership. Snappy may investigate and remove infringing content where appropriate. Accounts of repeat infringers may be suspended or terminated.
Schedule 6 β Dealer Agreement
βBusinesses that regularly advertise goods for sale may register for dealer accounts. Dealer accounts may operate under subscription packages providing enhanced listing features. Dealers must comply with applicable licensing laws, consumer protection laws, and advertising standards. Dealers must not engage in misleading or deceptive conduct prohibited under Australian Consumer Law. Snappy may suspend dealer accounts where legal obligations are breached.
Schedule 7 β Privacy Policy

Snappy may disclose personal information to payment processors, cloud hosting providers, analytics providers, and legal or regulatory authorities where required by law. Schedule 8 β Cookie & Tracking Policy
βThe Platform may use cookies and similar technologies to enhance user experience and improve platform functionality. Cookies may include: essential cookies required for platform operation, performance cookies for analytics, functionality cookies to remember user preferences, and advertising cookies for marketing purposes. Snappy may use third-party analytics tools to understand how users interact with the Platform. Users can manage or disable cookies through their browser settings, though doing so may limit certain features of the Platform.
Schedule 9 β Content Moderation Policy
βSnappy reserves the right to review, edit, refuse, or remove Listings or user-generated content. Content may be removed where it violates these Terms, breaches applicable laws, contains fraudulent or misleading information, infringes intellectual property rights, or promotes illegal activities. Where appropriate, Snappy may notify users when content is removed. Users may contact Snappy support if they believe content has been removed in error.

βSnappy provides customer support for platform-related issues. Users may contact support at: support@snappysales.com.au. Users may submit complaints regarding platform functionality, listings, user behaviour, and suspected fraud. Snappy will review complaints and may investigate where appropriate, taking reasonable steps to resolve platform-related issues.
Schedule 12 β Regulatory Compliance Statement
βSnappy operates in compliance with applicable Australian legislation including: Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), Australian Consumer Law, Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), and Spam Act 2003 (Cth). Snappy operates as an advertising platform and does not act as a broker, agent, or party to transactions between users. Nothing in the Platform Terms excludes rights available under Australian consumer protection laws.
Schedule 13 β Data Retention Policy
βSnappy will retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services to users, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Account information may be retained while the user maintains an active account and for a reasonable period after account closure. Snappy may retain information for longer periods where required by law or regulatory obligations. When personal information is no longer required, Snappy will take reasonable steps to securely destroy or de-identify the data. All data retention practices comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
Schedule 14 β Platform Enforcement Policy
βSnappy reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of platform policies. Where violations are identified, Snappy may issue warnings, remove Listings, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, or restrict platform access. Accounts may be immediately suspended where urgent action is necessary to protect the Platform or other users. Snappy may cooperate with law enforcement agencies in relation to illegal activity.
Schedule 15 β Trust & Safety Policy
βSnappy is committed to maintaining a safe and trustworthy marketplace environment. Snappy may implement monitoring tools designed to detect fraudulent activity, suspicious behaviour, and policy violations. Users are encouraged to report suspicious Listings or behaviour through available reporting tools. Users remain responsible for exercising reasonable caution when engaging in transactions.
Schedule 16 β Platform Abuse Policy
βUsers must not engage in conduct that abuses or exploits the Platform. Platform abuse may include: creating fake accounts, manipulating listings or search results, attempting to bypass platform rules, harvesting user information, and collecting or harvesting personal information from other users without consent. Snappy may suspend or terminate accounts involved in abusive behaviour.
Schedule 17 β Advertising Content Standards
βAll advertising content must comply with applicable Australian laws including Australian Consumer Law. Advertisements must be truthful and must not mislead consumers. Where prices are displayed, they must be clear and accurate. Advertisements must not promote: illegal goods, fraudulent schemes, or misleading investment opportunities. Snappy may remove advertising that does not comply with these standards.
Schedule 18 β Platform Governance & Compliance
βSnappy maintains internal governance practices to ensure the responsible operation of the Platform, seeking to comply with applicable laws including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), Australian Consumer Law, and Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Snappy may update its policies periodically to reflect legal or operational changes and will notify Users of significant changes where reasonably practicable.
Schedule 19 β Property Listing Rules
βThese Rules apply to all Property Listings published on the Platform, in addition to the general Terms. Property Listings may include residential property, commercial property, industrial property, rural property, lifestyle property, vacant land, apartments, townhouses, villas, units, acreage, rental properties, holiday accommodation, development sites, and businesses with freehold property.
Authority to Advertise. Users must only advertise property where they are the legal owner, have been authorised by the owner, are a licensed real estate professional acting on behalf of the owner, or otherwise have lawful authority to advertise the property.
Property Information. Property Listings must accurately describe the property including address, suburb, state, postcode, property type, land area, building area, bedrooms, bathrooms, parking, inclusions, price, rental amount, auction details, and inspection times.
Photographs and Media. All photographs, videos, floorplans, virtual tours and other media must accurately represent the property, not be materially misleading, not contain deceptive digital alterations, and comply with applicable laws. Minor image enhancements for lighting or colour correction are permitted provided they do not materially misrepresent the property.
Property Professionals. Licensed real estate professionals warrant that they hold all licences required by law, comply with applicable legislation, comply with professional conduct requirements, and comply with advertising standards.
No Property Advice. Snappy does not provide real estate advice, investment advice, legal advice, conveyancing services, valuation services, finance advice, or taxation advice. Users should obtain independent professional advice before entering into any property transaction.
Schedule 20 β Motor Vehicle Listing Rules
βThese Rules apply to all Listings relating to motor vehicles including passenger vehicles, SUVs, utilities, vans, light commercial vehicles, performance vehicles, classic vehicles, electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles, and imported vehicles.
Vehicle Condition. Users must accurately disclose any known material defects including accident damage, hail damage, flood damage, engine faults, transmission faults, structural damage, mechanical defects, and modifications requiring approval. Users must not deliberately conceal known defects.
Odometer Readings. Odometer readings must accurately reflect the reading displayed on the vehicle at the time the Listing is created. Users must not knowingly advertise false or misleading odometer readings.
Written-Off and Repairable Vehicles. Where required by law, Users must disclose if a vehicle has been written off, has previously been classified as a repairable write-off, or has been rebuilt following major damage.
Buyer Responsibility. Buyers are responsible for independently verifying ownership, vehicle condition, registration status, service history, finance owing, PPSR records, written-off status, and roadworthiness. Snappy does not inspect or verify vehicles advertised on the Platform.
Schedule 21 β Boat & Marine Vessel Listing Rules
βThese Rules apply to all Listings relating to boats, marine vessels and associated equipment including power boats, sailing vessels, personal watercraft, inflatable boats, commercial vessels, fishing boats, houseboats, catamarans, yachts, boat trailers, outboard motors, and marine equipment.
Vessel Condition. Users must accurately disclose any known material defects including hull damage, structural repairs, engine defects, electrical faults, water ingress, accident damage, storm or flood damage, and major repairs. Users must not deliberately conceal known defects.
Buyer Responsibility. Buyers are responsible for independently obtaining marine inspections, engine inspections, finance checks, registration checks, insurance advice, and professional marine surveys where appropriate. Any inspection, survey or sea trial is conducted entirely at the Users' own risk.
Schedule 22 β Commercial Equipment Listing Rules
βThese Rules apply to all Listings relating to commercial vehicles, trailers, caravans, machinery, agricultural equipment, earthmoving equipment, industrial equipment and associated attachments including trucks, prime movers, semi-trailers, forklifts, cranes, generators, and compressors.
Equipment Condition. Users must accurately disclose any known material defects including structural damage, accident damage, major repairs, hydraulic faults, engine defects, transmission defects, electrical faults, and chassis damage. Users must not knowingly conceal significant defects.
Operating Hours. Where engine hours, machine hours or operating hours are displayed, they must accurately reflect the reading at the time the Listing is created unless otherwise disclosed.
Finance and Encumbrances. Users are responsible for accurately disclosing any known finance or security interests where required by law. Buyers should independently conduct PPSR or equivalent searches before purchasing commercial equipment. Snappy does not verify finance owing.
Schedule 23 β AI & Automated Content Policy
βSnappy may provide AI-powered features including listing description generation, content suggestions, image enhancement, image generation, background removal, translation services, search assistance, listing recommendations, category suggestions, chatbots, customer support tools, fraud detection, spam detection, and automated moderation.
No Guarantee of Accuracy. AI-generated content is provided for convenience only. Snappy does not warrant that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, current, suitable for any particular purpose, or legally compliant.
User Responsibility. Users remain solely responsible for reviewing, verifying and approving all AI-generated content before publication or reliance. Publication of AI-generated content constitutes acceptance by the User that the content is accurate.
User Restrictions. Users must not use Snappy's AI features to: create misleading Listings, impersonate another person, generate fraudulent content, infringe intellectual property rights, breach applicable laws, or otherwise violate the Snappy Terms and Conditions.
Limitation of Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Snappy is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on AI-generated content, inaccuracies in AI-generated text or images, automated recommendations, AI-assisted translations, or AI-assisted moderation decisions.
Schedule 24 β Verification Policy
βSnappy may offer verification services including Identity Verification, Business Verification, Dealer Verification, Real Estate Agency Verification, Professional Verification, Email Verification, Mobile Number Verification, Payment Method Verification, Listing Verification, and other verification services. Verification services are provided entirely at Snappy's discretion.
What Verification Means. Verification indicates only that certain information has been reviewed or confirmed by Snappy at a particular point in time. Verification does not mean that Snappy guarantees the User's identity, honesty, compliance with the law, accuracy of Listings, or the successful completion of any transaction.
Revocation of Verification. Snappy may suspend, remove or revoke verification at any time where verification information is no longer current, false or misleading information has been provided, licences expire or are suspended, fraud is suspected, or these Terms have been breached.
No Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Snappy accepts no responsibility or liability arising from reliance on a verification badge, fraudulent conduct by a verified User, inaccurate information supplied during verification, or changes occurring after verification has been completed.
Schedule 25 β Search Ranking & Advertising Transparency Policy
βSearch results are intended to assist Users in discovering Listings that may be relevant to their search criteria. Snappy may determine the order, visibility or prominence of Listings using factors including: the User's search criteria, Listing category, location, relevance, Listing quality and completeness, Listing age, promoted or featured advertising, subscription level, availability of images, user preferences, platform performance signals, and fraud prevention measures.
Promoted Listings. Snappy may offer advertising products that increase the visibility or prominence of Listings. Promoted Listings may be identified by labels such as "Featured", "Promoted", or "Sponsored" where required by applicable law.
No Guaranteed Ranking. Purchasing a Subscription, advertising package, or promoted Listing does not guarantee first position in search results, a particular search ranking, a minimum number of views, a minimum number of enquiries, a sale, rental or lease, or any particular commercial outcome.
Algorithm Changes. Snappy may modify its search algorithms, ranking systems and recommendation systems at any time to improve user experience, improve search relevance, reduce fraud, or for any other legitimate business purpose. Snappy is not required to disclose the operation or weighting of its search algorithms.
Schedule 26 β Payment & Chargeback Policy
βPayments for Snappy Services may be processed through third-party payment providers approved by Snappy. Where a User purchases a Subscription, the User authorises recurring charges to the nominated payment method until the Subscription is cancelled.
Failed Payments. If a payment cannot be successfully processed, Snappy may retry the payment, notify the User, suspend or restrict access to paid services, remove premium advertising features, or suspend or terminate the applicable Subscription.
Chargebacks. Before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute through a financial institution, Users should first contact Snappy to allow the matter to be investigated and, where appropriate, resolved. Where Snappy reasonably believes a chargeback has been initiated fraudulently, Snappy may recover unpaid Fees through lawful means or permanently suspend or terminate the User's Account.
Refunds. Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise, Listing Fees, Subscription Fees, Promotion Fees, Featured Listing Fees, Advertising Fees, and Upgrade Fees are non-refundable. Where a refund is approved or required by law, it will generally be processed using the original payment method.
Taxes. Unless otherwise stated, Australian pricing includes Goods and Services Tax (GST) where applicable. International Users are responsible for taxes, duties or other government charges applicable within their jurisdiction.
Pricing Changes. Snappy may amend Fees from time to time. Where changes affect existing Subscription services, Snappy will provide reasonable notice before the revised Fees take effect.
